This policy explains what information Coldfront collects through getcoldfront.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Coldfront is a trade name of R-Value Packaging LLC (“Coldfront,” “we,” “us”).

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote or contact us, we collect what you enter: your email address, ship-from ZIP code, shipping speed, and, if you provide them, your name, company, phone number, products of interest, estimated volume, and message. If you email us, we keep that correspondence.

Chat. If you use the chat assistant on our site, we store the messages in the conversation. If you ask for a callback, we collect the name, email, phone number, and company you enter, and we create a short summary of the conversation for our team. Your browser stores a random visitor ID so a conversation can continue across pages.

Usage information. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. It uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate location, device and browser type, and whether a quote form was started or submitted. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.

How we use information

• To respond to quote requests and questions, prepare quotes, and supply the products you order.
• To send you emails about your request, including a confirmation that we received it.
• To follow up about our products and services. You can opt out at any time (see “Your choices” below).
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our business, under terms that limit their use of it to providing those services:

• Website hosting (Vercel)
• Database hosting (Neon)
• Transactional email delivery (Resend)
• The AI model that generates chat replies and callback summaries (Anthropic)
• Website analytics (Google Analytics)

To prepare a quote or fulfill an order, we may share the shipping details needed with the manufacturers, warehouses, and carriers that produce and deliver your products. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of our business.

Your choices

• Emails: reply “no thanks” or “unsubscribe” to any email from us, or write to will@getcoldfront.com, and we will stop sending you marketing emails.
• Access, correction, and deletion: email us to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it. We may need to verify your request, and we may keep information we are required to keep by law or for legitimate business records such as quotes and invoices.
• Analytics: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

Retention

We keep information for as long as we need it to respond to you, maintain our business relationship and records, and meet legal obligations, and then delete it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we collect. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure.

Children

This site is for businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
